Bulk Heating
Oil
A collaboration with
Oxfordshire Rural Community Council (ORCC) is currently being considered in
relation to heating oil supplies for the Village Hall. The concept is that
ORCC contacts its members monthly to ascertain their heating oil
requirements and then places a bulk order with the most competitive supplier
for delivery to those requiring oil that month.
The scheme is being extended to villagers who wish to join the scheme. In
the case of Uffington, Paul Armishaw has volunteered as the village
coordinator.
