Uffington Parish Website Accessibility

Introduction

We want this website to be accessible by as many people as possible including those with:

  • Impaired vision
  • Motor difficulties
  • Cognitive impairments or learning disabilities
  • Deafness or impaired hearing.

Whilst many areas of the website met the guidelines others did not and we carried out a Accessibility Assessment in January 2021 to identify what needed to be done. We have implemented the affordable and technically possible recommendations in order to move as close as possible to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as reasonably possible. The Accessibility Statement and list of changes made to improve accessibility taken are in the documents below.
